Niagara Region blends renowned attractions, wine country, waterfront communities, and international connections. From Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake to St. Catharines and Fort Erie, the region welcomes visitors while supporting a diverse local business community.
Nero Limo provides premium chauffeur and black car transportation across Niagara Region, serving airport transfers, corporate travel, wine tours, special occasions, and private journeys between Niagara, Toronto, and surrounding destinations.
The Niagara Peninsula is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, and before them the Neutral Nation, who lived and traded between the two lakes. The name Niagara itself is often traced to an Iroquoian word describing the strait where the river runs.
After the American Revolution, Loyalist families settled the peninsula, and in 1792 the first parliament of Upper Canada met at Newark, known today as Niagara-on-the-Lake. Twenty years later, the region became a battleground. Major General Sir Isaac Brock was killed at the Battle of Queenston Heights in October 1812, and in 1813 Laura Secord made her famous walk to warn British forces of a planned American attack. Brock’s Monument still stands high above Queenston.
In 1829, the first Welland Canal opened, allowing ships to bypass Niagara Falls and travel between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. The current canal, the fourth, opened in 1932 and still carries freighters through St. Catharines, Thorold, Welland, and Port Colborne. The Regional Municipality of Niagara was created in 1970 and today includes twelve cities, towns, and townships.
The QEW is Niagara’s main artery, running from the Burlington Skyway across the Garden City Skyway in St. Catharines and on to Fort Erie. On summer weekends and Friday afternoons, it fills with visitors heading to the Falls and wine country. Highway 406 connects St. Catharines to Welland, Highway 405 leads to the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, and Highway 420 brings traffic straight into Niagara Falls.
Once you arrive, new challenges begin. Parking around Clifton Hill and Fallsview fills up fast and is expensive, spots along Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake are hard to find, and the Niagara Parkway is slow and busy with cyclists on nice days. Locals know another delay well: when a freighter passes through the Welland Canal, lift bridges go up and traffic waits. In winter, lake-effect snow off Lake Erie can hit Fort Erie and Port Colborne hard. Our chauffeurs plan around all of it, so whether you’re heading from Grimsby to Pearson or from a hotel in Fallsview to a winery in Jordan, you get there on time.
Niagara is a place people come to enjoy, and the last thing anyone wants is to spend the day worrying about driving, parking, or who’s staying sober. Nero Limo takes care of the logistics with professional chauffeurs, comfortable vehicles, and routes planned around Niagara’s traffic, events, and border crossings. Whether you’re a local heading to the airport or a visitor planning a weekend in wine country, we make every part of the trip easier.

We booked Nero Limo for a corporate event during TIFF and had a really good experience. We needed several executive transfers throughout the day, and everything was handled smoothly. The drivers arrived on time, the vehicles were clean and comfortable, and communication was easy from start to finish. Knowing that Nero Limo is also an Official Hospitality Partner of TIFF 2026 made us feel even more comfortable booking them during such a busy time in Toronto. I’d definitely use Nero Limo again for black car services in Toronto.Posted on Google![]()

Outside peak hours, it’s about an hour from St. Catharines, roughly an hour and 15 minutes from Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake, and around an hour and a half from Fort Erie. Summer weekends on the QEW can add a lot of time, so we plan your pickup with that in mind. See the full list of airports we serve.
