Eastern Ontario combines historic communities, waterfront destinations, rural landscapes, and major transportation corridors stretching toward Ottawa and the GTA. Its diverse geography supports business travel, tourism, and long-distance journeys across the region.
Nero Limo offers limo and black car service across the region. Our professional chauffeurs handle airport runs, wine country weekends, weddings, border crossings, and business travel along the 401.
Long before the first survey lines were drawn, this was Indigenous land, and several nations still call it home. The Algonquin Anishinaabe have deep roots along the Ottawa River and its tributaries. The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte have lived at Tyendinaga since 1784. Near Cornwall, the territory of the Mohawks of Akwesasne crosses the borders of Ontario, Quebec, and New York State.
Much of the modern map took shape after the American Revolution. Thousands of Loyalists moved north and were granted land along the St. Lawrence and the Bay of Quinte in the 1780s. Kingston grew quickly as a naval base and trading town, and in 1841 it became the first capital of the Province of Canada. Sir John A. Macdonald practised law there before his political career took off. In 1832 the Rideau Canal opened between Kingston and Bytown, the settlement that later became Ottawa. It was built as a military supply route that kept clear of the American border. Today the canal and Kingston’s fortifications, including Fort Henry, together form a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The river has shaped this area in other ways too. The Battle of Crysler’s Farm was fought near Morrisburg in 1813. On July 1, 1958, construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway flooded a string of riverside communities now remembered as the Lost Villages. Families were relocated to the new towns of Ingleside and Long Sault, and many historic buildings were moved to what became Upper Canada Village. Farther upriver, Brockville is home to Canada’s first railway tunnel. It was completed in 1860 and is now open to walk through, with a light display running its full length.
Highway 401 is the backbone of the region. It runs east from Trenton through Belleville, Kingston, Brockville, and Cornwall before crossing into Quebec, and it carries a heavy share of the truck traffic between Toronto and Montreal. Highway 416 branches north near Prescott toward Ottawa. Highway 417 heads east from Ottawa to the Quebec border and west toward Arnprior, and Highway 7 links Ottawa with Carleton Place and Perth. Closer to the water, the Loyalist Parkway (Highway 33) follows the shore from Trenton through Prince Edward County to Kingston, with a free ferry crossing at Glenora. The Thousand Islands Parkway winds along the river between Gananoque and Brockville.
Winter here often brings ice rather than deep snow. Freezing rain is a regular problem from December through March, and the 1998 ice storm left parts of eastern Ontario without power for weeks. On open stretches of the 416 and 417, blowing snow can cut visibility to almost nothing in minutes. Fog also rises off the St. Lawrence in spring and fall. Summer has its own slowdowns: Friday traffic on the 401, lineups at Sandbanks on hot weekends, and busy roads around Gananoque when the tour boats are running. Our chauffeurs plan every trip around these conditions, so a ride from Picton to the Ottawa airport or from Cornwall to a Montreal hotel stays on schedule.
Eastern Ontario is spread out. A wedding in the County, a meeting in Ottawa, and a flight out of Montreal can all land in the same week, and each one means a different highway. Nero Limo covers all of it with chauffeurs who know the region, well-kept vehicles, and trip planning that accounts for ice, border lines, and ferry schedules. You can catch up on email, nap, or watch the river go by.

Long hours on the 401 are routine for us. Our cars stay quiet and comfortable over long distances, and our chauffeurs know the construction zones and rest stops between Toronto and the Quebec line.
In this region, ice matters as much as snow. Through the colder months we check forecasts, road reports, and ferry updates before every trip, and we'll call you if the timing needs to change.
Tasting rooms in Prince Edward County, sunset at Sandbanks, and boat tours out of Gananoque are more fun when nobody in your group has to drive or look for parking.
We move visitors, officials, and families on time and with discretion. That includes federal offices in Ottawa, CFB Trenton, CFB Kingston, the Royal Military College, and Queen's University.
Reserve online in a few minutes, receive your confirmation, and get your chauffeur's name and contact details before pickup.
Our full range of private black car options provides first-class ground transportation throughout Eastern Ontario, from a single airport transfer to a full weekend of business meetings, events, and special occasions.
Eastern Ontario sits between three major airports, and the closest one isn't always the obvious choice. Ottawa International Airport (YOW) is the main hub for much of the region and is about two hours from Kingston. From Cornwall, Hawkesbury, and the eastern counties, Montréal-Trudeau (YUL) is often just as quick.
Book a chauffeur for the full day when your schedule has several stops. That could be meetings at Kingston's hospitals and universities, property viewings along the Thousand Islands Parkway, or site visits between Belleville and Brockville. Your driver waits, deals with the parking, and keeps the car ready. Read more about our chauffeur services.
Spend an afternoon moving between wineries and cideries around Hillier and Wellington. Catch the sunset ceremony at Fort Henry, tour the old Kingston Penitentiary, browse the shops in Merrickville, or visit the 1860s at Upper Canada Village. With our hourly car service, your chauffeur stays close between stops.
We offer private rides between Eastern Ontario and Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Peterborough, and other cities across the province. We also cover Northumberland County, the Ottawa Valley, and western Quebec. Find more routes on our intercity transportation page.
We drive for winery weddings in Prince Edward County and waterfront receptions in the Thousand Islands. We also cover the Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville, Canada Day and Winterlude in Ottawa, homecoming weekend in Kingston, and office holiday parties all winter long. Learn more about our special events service.
The local economy runs on a mix of public and private work. Federal departments bring a steady stream of visitors to Ottawa, and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories draws engineers and contractors to Chalk River. We handle executive transfers, airport pickups, and multi-stop days across all of it. For planning tips, see our business airport transfers guide.
Our Executive Vans carry up to 14 passengers. They work well for County wine tours, wedding shuttles between Picton hotels and the venue, hockey tournament weekends, and cottage trips to the Rideau Lakes.
We offer pre-booked, flat-rate rides to Syracuse, Watertown, and beyond. We also run long-distance trips to Quebec City, Mont-Tremblant, and Algonquin Park.

We booked Nero Limo for a corporate event during TIFF and had a really good experience. We needed several executive transfers throughout the day, and everything was handled smoothly. The drivers arrived on time, the vehicles were clean and comfortable, and communication was easy from start to finish. Knowing that Nero Limo is also an Official Hospitality Partner of TIFF 2026 made us feel even more comfortable booking them during such a busy time in Toronto. I’d definitely use Nero Limo again for black car services in Toronto.Posted on Google![]()

Premier provider of Executive Black Car Service and limo service across Toronto and Southern Ontario, serving the Golden Horseshoe, Niagara Region, Southwestern Ontario, Simcoe County, and the Muskoka District.
It depends on where you’re headed. Ottawa International Airport is the most convenient for Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley, Lanark County, and much of Leeds and Grenville. Montréal-Trudeau often makes more sense for Cornwall, Glengarry, and Hawkesbury. For Belleville, Trenton, and Prince Edward County, Toronto Pearson is usually the better choice. Kingston sits in the middle, about two hours from Ottawa and closer to three from Pearson. We’re happy to help you weigh flight options against drive times before you book.
In normal conditions, plan on about two hours from Belleville, two and a half hours from Picton, two and three-quarter hours from Kingston, three and a half hours from Brockville, and just over four hours from Cornwall. Friday afternoons and winter storms can add time, and we set departure times with that in mind.
Yes. With our hourly service, your chauffeur drives you between wineries, cideries, and restaurants at your own pace and waits at each stop. Many tasting rooms ask for reservations on summer and fall weekends, so book those ahead. If Sandbanks is on your list, check with Ontario Parks first, because day-use passes can sell out in peak season.
Yes. Depending on your destination, we cross at the Thousand Islands Bridge, the Ogdensburg-Prescott bridge, or Cornwall. Every passenger needs valid travel documents, such as a passport or NEXUS card, and it’s worth checking border wait times before you leave.
Yes. County weddings often have guests spread across Picton inns, Wellington rentals, and the venue itself, which makes getting everyone together on time tricky. We can run shuttle loops in our Sprinter vans and bring the wedding party in a luxury sedan or SUV. We’ll also plan the rides home after the reception so nobody has to drive.
